Poor communication can impact patient experience and outcomes. This can significantly challenge Foundation Doctors at the start of their careers. Support was needed to improve clinicians communication style.
In a simulated Breaking bad news scenario, KAI analyzed the conversation and gave individual objective feedback to each doctor before a group training session. The exercise was repeated with further analysis.
